Our clients tasked us to provide a solution to their north facing back garden. The usable space for entertainment and child play has been inhibited by the severe slope and the shadow of the house even in the finest of weather. Robert our Garden Designer took advantage of the estate construction and utilised the gaps between the houses to create two "external rooms" one for the kids and one for the adults. Those sunny south facing spots provided the basis for this trully stunning feature timber deck accessed by a curved stairway from a new extended lower deck. The lower patio area ( external room number 3) was laid in random Natural Sandstone from Stonemarkets Marketstone range and provides ample room the entertaining family and friends. The stainless steel lights and post and wire fence give the upper deck a nautical feel.
