Back Garden Re-Design

Date: April 2012

Our Monifieth Clients were loking to transform their large back garden. A large expanse of grass dominated the site and needed constant maintenance. Our brief was to split the garden into  two area' s. The back for washing line etc with a screen to the " washing line" from the house. The budget was limited but could it stretch to a patio and nice sitting area in front of the screen?

We proposed limited spend to the rear of the garden, with basic chippings and utility paving to provide pathways accessing the washing line. The screen overlapped, providing a gateway which is hidden from the house view. The screen created the impression of a smaller garden and a natural India Sandstone Paving patio was added to one side with a feature pergola set above. Opposite we installed a small sitting area with raised planters and a water feature. all joined by pathways form Indian Sanstone.
