Fellstyle Paving
Fellstyle Paving should always be laid larger face upwards on a full bed of mortar. It may be used for domestic driveways, with suitable foundations. When used for interiors, it is usually treated with a suitable coating.
Fellstyle is split along its natural bedding planes, which produces a wider range of thickness than the controlled processes used in manufacturing reconstituted stone. Compared to most other types of natural stone, Fellstyle is relatively consistent in colour and texture. Each piece shows minor variations, adding to its natural character. It is important to view samples of the stone at a stockist before making a final choice.
Random layouts look most authentic when they contain a large number of sizes, so we offer Fellstyle Paving in eight different sizes. This enables a very wide range of patterns to be achieved. Whichever pattern you choose, the paving will fit together perfectly because our accurately proportioned sizes allow for consistent 10mm joints.
