Surround house landscaping Project

March/April 2015

Our Dundee client tasked us designing a solution to their overgrown and forgotten garden. There was a considerable slope to the rear of the garden and the plot had a triangular shape. The designer Robert Furmanek used curved surfaces to create a "flow" from front to rear with the use of standard materials.

Large machinery was needed to move around several hundred tonnes of earth. Natural Indian Sandstone provided the bulk of the hardstanding (surround paving surface) with rustic driveway setts used to demarcate borders from lawn and provide a path for accessing rear seated deck area.

The works took approximately 33 days and was slighty overtime. Our client is extremely happy and a testimonial is posted at the end of the project images.
