We welcome enquiries to help you plan traditional or contemporary designs for large or small open spaces. Our helpful staff give you friendly and expert advice on all aspects from labour saving container gardens to your most ambitious projects. This is a free service.
PERSONAL CONSULTATION
We understand how busy our customers are and that sometimes it's difficult to visit showrooms to allow you time to come to decisions. Why not book yourself a personal out-of-hours appointment to discuss your requirements. You can expect a one-to-one service from someone with vast product knowledge who will escort and talk you through many of our displays.(During our refurbishment we apoligise for the current lack of displays, however there will be a section of our new improved showroom open for the Easter weekend) Our experience could save you hundreds of pounds on a medium size project. This is a free service.
Bespoke and Essentials GARDEN DESIGN
We offer a full Garden Design service from our own Landscape Architect and Garden Designer, Mr Robert Furmanek. The bespoke service is chargeable and the cost is dependant upon plot size or a minimum fee of £250. This service is for customers who are looking for that special garden and do not know where to start nor have the time. The Essentials Garden Design is free and is exactly what it says, i.e. the essential elements set into your plot, e.g patios, paths, fencing , walling, planters, low maintenance area, water features etc, in other words you have a fairly good idea of what you want and where its going, we simply perhaps add a few idea's and bring it all together, this service is free.
In both design services our design plans and images are available to purchase should you wish to DIY or engage another contractor.
All design services commence with a home visit,we will measure your plot and take photographs and listen to you. It is important at this stage to give us an indication of your budget, this assists us to plan within your budget and not go off on a "Chesea Flower Show " crusade! To assist you we suggest a minimum of £65 per square metre for surfaces on the level (exclude any surface you wish to retain as is ) and £100 for vertical building eg walls/planters etc,there is of course no upper limit !! but you may want to set one!!
Following a short period of planning you will be invited to attend our offices to view materials and be given a computer based presentation of how the project can look, at this point we will be in a position to provide you with an estimate. The service has been free to this point. If our estimate is accepted you will be offered an approximate start date, if this date is acceptable a 10% booking fee is required, a further 40% deposit becomes payable within 28 days of the proposed start date. The final 50% is payable upon completion and a 12 month guarantee is offered on labour and materials.
Of course we understand you may wish to install the project yourself or engage your own contractor but wish to use our design plans and images. The plans and images can be purchased for 7.5% of the total project with a minimum fee of £250. In both design cases any fees paid for design are refunded should you progress to place an order with our highly experienced in houseinstallation team.

DELIVERY
We aim to delivery within 24 hours if your goods are in stock. If they have to be ordered we can normally supply within 7 working days. We operate a lorry mounted crane and can deliver up to 8 tonnes per load. Unlike other merchants we do not insist that you remain in to acccept delivery. We also offer a tipper delivery for small loads at weekends. See the delivery section for more details.
