Front and Rear Gardens, Driveway and Boundary Wall

Nov/Dec 2012 (xmas and bad weather break) Jan finish.

Our Dundee Clients asked us to reduce the maintenance load on their rear garden, provide cleaner modern surfaces to the driveway and front garden paths and provide a pleasing boundary partition wall. Little design was required here as the client knew what they wanted, we merely made a few additional suggestions and put both the clients ideas and our own into our landscaping software, allowing the client the opportunity to view the proposed project before committing to engaging us.

The project which commenced in late November was carried out throughout the winter, with the majority of the  construction work completed before the deep frost set in. Levels were adjusted by careful redistribution of earth allowing a reduction of the back garden slope and levelling of the front garden. The driveway which had a severe slope to the entrance had levels adjusted to give a more gradual climb along its length. The rear fence was moved to the back of the house allowing an extension to the driveway with the refuge bins now out of sight.

Natural Indian sandstone was used to form the two patio areas within the back garden and new hardstanding to the front.
